Request for Tender: Evaluation of DCU Access to the Workplace Programme (2020 - 2022)

Context

The DCU Access to the Workplace Programme (ATTW) was established in 2019 by DCU’s Access Service and DCU Educational Trust (DCUET) to give Access students the opportunity to secure quality, fully paid professional work experience during the summer months, hosted by corporate supporters of DCU’s Access Programme.

In 2020 the programme secured three-year funding from Rethink Ireland, formally known as the Social Innovation Fund Ireland (SIFI), to grow and scale the programme and develop a strategy for its long term sustainability.

The DCU Access to the Workplace Programme is managed by an internal DCU Steering Group (SG), comprising staff members from the DCU Access Service and the DCU Educational Trust. A full-time Programme Coordinator manages the day to day operations of the programme and it is envisaged that the assigned consultant will work closely with both the Coordinator and programme steering group over a 3 year period.

Objectives of Request for Tender

DCU’s Access Service seeks expressions of interest from suitably qualified individuals or companies to conduct a three-year evaluation of the Access to the Workplace Programme. The duration of this evaluation is in line with Rethink Ireland funding and involves the evaluation and research of three programme lifecycles in 2020, 2021 and 2022.

Please see Evaluation of DCU Access to the Workplace Programme (2020 - 2022) here below for further details.
