Open Call: Culture Night Late - Closing 27 May

A new programme, Culture Night Late, has been created in response to the changing needs of the arts sector and in line with the government’s commitments outlined in the Report of the Night-Time Economy Taskforce (September 2021).

This programme seeks to build upon the success of the 2021 Culture Night pilot late night events, and recognises the distinctive need to develop and diversify the artistic and cultural offerings of the night-time economy, as outlined in Action Point 11 of the Report of the Night-Time Economy Taskforce.

Applicants may apply for funding between €15,000 and €20,000 for a regional flagship event. Funding awarded will be no more than 60% of the total event cost.

Who can apply?

Culture Night Late is open to local authorities, artists, creators, producers, programmers and arts organisations in the Republic of Ireland

Culture Night Dublin

The seventeenth edition of Culture Night Dublin will take place on Friday, 23 September 2022. The programme of events features an exciting programme of cultural discovery across Dublin, with the usual myriad of fantastic events and activities.

A massive thank you to Dublin City Council and The Arts Council for their continued work in making sure that Culture Night Dublin happens each year and grá mór to the artists and organisations who are once again gearing up in preparation for the 2022 version on 23 September.
