Free ECDL to Help Keep Ireland Connected During COVID-19
European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) is now free on the Further Education & Training Course hub (fetchcourses.ie) to support those affected by the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. This is a new free government initiative to help Ireland stay connected during the current public health emergency.
Working in partnership with SOLAS, the Further Education and Training Authority, ECDL/ICDL resources have been made available for free on the SOLAS online learning service as a support to learners who have been impacted by the current containment measures.
Students can now access 10 ECDL courses for free including:
- IT Security
- Online Collaboration
- Presentations
- Spreadsheets
- Computer Essentials
- Online Essentials
- Word Processing
- Image Editing
- Web Editing
- Project Planning
Anyone over 16 with a PPS number can access the courses.
