The Business Post is partnering with The Wheel to publish a special Non-profit Sector Report on Sunday 9 June 2024. The report presents service providers and sector leaders with an opportunity to showcase thought leadership and raise their profile in this vital sector and beyond! The report will appear in Business Post print and online editions, and the digital version will be circulated by The Wheel to thousands of organisations in the not-for-profit sector.

The not-for-profit sector contributes significantly to Ireland’s social and economic prospects. Every year over two-thirds of adults,  that’s more than two million people - participate in the social, sporting, cultural and humanitarian activities offered by 32,842 organisations in the non-for-profit-sector. The sector directly employs around 165,000 people and manages a combined annual income of €14.2BN.

The report will be published in partnership with The Wheel, the national association of charities, which represents over 2,400 not-for-profit organisations.

Drawing on the latest research, this report will look at:

  • The Sector's Profile: Current analysis of the not-for-profit sector in Ireland and key trends.
  • Human Resources: Key issues including recruitment and retention in the sector and changes in the workplace including the widespread adoption of blended and remote-working models.
  • Governance & Regulations: What are the voluntary codes and standards, including SORP, the Charities Regulator’s Governance Code and the Statement of Guiding Principles for Fundraising?
  • Tax issues: How to apply for a tax exemption, eligibility, and structures.
  • Fundraising & Philanthropy: New fundraising trends, including online and social media fundraising and corporate partnerships.
  • Guidelines for Tendering and Procurement. Support, advice and services available to nonprofit organisations.

This report will be an ideal platform for consultants, businesses and other experts who provide accounting, consultancy, legal, procurement, IT, fundraising and other advisory services to charities and nonprofit organisations to achieve a showcase in a highly relevant and supportive editorial.

The editorial & booking deadline is Tuesday, 4 June at 5 pm.
