AI for Good Fund Inviting Applications
Rethink Ireland are thrilled to announce the launch of our AI for Good Fund.
This €1.75 million Fund aims to support not-for-profit organisations working to better understand and adopt AI, with the aim of supporting missions, strengthening communities and advancing social innovation across Ireland.
This one year Fund was created in partnership with Google.org and The Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht (DRCDG) under the Dormant Accounts Fund. Up to 30 awardees will receive a package of supports, including:
- A place on Rethink Ireland’s AI Accelerator programme of upskilling and AI adoption
- A Cash grant of up to €15,000 for each participating organisation to support their AI adoption journey.
- Non-financial support customised to each organisation’s needs on their AI adoption journey.
We invite applications from:

Not-for-profit organisations that have already identified a problem or gap that they believe AI could help solve, with staff members who are keen to upskill in AI with support from leadership.
The fund is open for applications from 30 September until the 9 November 2026.

Applicants are invited to join one of our application clinics on Wednesday, 7 October or Wednesday, 21 October 2026. These one-hour webinars will provide information on fund eligibility and the application process and offer an opportunity to answer any questions you have. Register for an application clinic here:
