Dublin Learning City Festival 2024 - Applications Now Open to Host Events
Dublin Learning City is inviting individuals, organisations and companies from all over Dublin to host events at Dublin City Learning Festival 2024. The Festival which takes place from Monday 15 to Wednesday 17 April, celebrates and promotes learning for all, through a series of engaging events. It’s free, it’s fun and it’s for everyone!
The Festival is open to the public, with the purpose of creating awareness about the wide range of learning opportunities available in Dublin along with celebrating the fun, creative and free art of learning.
Dublin City Learning now welcomes learning events of all kinds and formats including seminars, podcasts, talks, workshops, demonstrations, tours, training sessions, open days, exhibitions, performances and more.
If you are interested in hosting an event or already have an event planned during the festival dates, we would like to include your event in our listings. If your event is free, focuses on learning and is open to all, you can apply by completing the form on www.dublinlearningcity.ie. The deadline for submission of event proposals is Thursday, 4 April 2024.
Denise McMorrow, Co-Chair of Dublin Learning City stated, “Learning is not linear; it is a process that can be engaging, fun, creative and most of all, accessible. This year we are aiming to include events that are experimental and diverse which will showcase the abundant resources available here in Dublin city, as well as the return of the favourite workshops and classes that have gotten very popular over the years.”
Sean Delaney, Co-Chair of Dublin Learning City, said, “This year we hope that the Dublin Learning City Festival will help people from all walks of life re-discover the joy of learning through fun and creativity. We want to break the notion many people still have that learning is dull or uninteresting. Dublin City is filled with organisations that go beyond conventional methods of learning and we are looking forward to showcasing them at the Festival.”
