Read Our Submission for the National Social Enterprise Policy
The Wheel welcomes the further development of the National Social Enterprise Policy for Ireland 2024–2027, and the focus that it will bring to supporting social enterprise as an important model and approach applied within the community and voluntary sector in Ireland.
Following the publication of the Draft Social Enterprise Policy, The Wheel held an online consultative meeting on 11 January, 2024 with our Social Enterprise Network. The published submission document reflects the views expressed by members at that meeting and in follow-up discussions. It also draws upon the experiences of members in our Social Enterprise Network over recent years and our two decades of policy and advocacy work.
