This focused training will give trustees of Irish charities a clear overview of the Governance Code and practical help to improve their organisation’s governance.

Attend this session to learn the key practices of good governance, how to apply them in your organisation, and what your legal duties are.

Learning outcomes

By the end of this session, you will have a solid working knowledge of:

  • The organisational role played by trustees
  • The essential elements of good governance
  • The key legal duties of charity trustees
  • The Charities Regulator’s Governance Code.
