I joined The Wheel in 2023 as Communications and Marketing Officer, and in 2026 took up my current role as Social Innovation Manager.

I’m responsible for the ongoing development and communication of the New Solutions Social Innovation Hub, a gateway for advancing social innovation and strengthening the social innovation ecosystem in Ireland by fostering active inclusion, promoting equal opportunities, ensuring non-discrimination, and supporting active participation and employability, particularly for disadvantaged groups.

I’ve been a book-seller, a wine-seller, a small-business owner, a teacher, and a researcher. I’ve received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English and in Medieval Language, Literature, and Culture from Trinity College Dublin, and a PhD in English Literature from Harvard University.

When I’m not working, I’m usually reading, sketching, watching movies, playing records, cooking, or board gaming, but rarely all six simultaneously.
