Hi, I’m Lauren! Since joining The Wheel in 2016, I’ve managed national and European initiatives, including our Training Links funding programme and several Erasmus+ capacity-building projects.
Most recently I was appointed as the Interim Director of Skills. I drive The Wheel’s workforce development strategy for the nonprofit sector. I lead a multidisciplinary team who is responsible for designing, delivering, evaluating and scaling training and development solutions, ensuring our sector has the tools and capacity to respond to current and emerging skills gaps.
My previous work experience in the sector includes voluntary positions with Sankalpa Addiction Service, The Aisling Project, and Suas Educational Development.
Outside of work I’m kept very busy by my two toddlers, and I love to run (slowly!). Luckily, I have a fabulous parkrun on my doorstep in Donabate.
