Invitation to the Spark Change Sustainability Awards, 18 October

Posted on 8 Oct 2019

Would you like to learn more about sustainable development and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)? If so, join The Wheel, Trinity College Dublin and the EPA for the Spark Change Awards on Friday, 18 October (5pm-8pm) at Dublin Castle.

We will be celebrating the heroes in our communities who are working at the grassroots to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and build a more sustainable future for all of us. Over the past year, dozens of community and voluntary groups have been working on local projects to make Ireland more economically, socially and environmentally sustainable. The Spark Change Awards will shine a light on their inspiring stories.

Eleven organisations from across Ireland have been shortlisted in six categories. Come along and see how local community and voluntary organisations are integrating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into their work.

The event will be hosted by John Gibbons, a leading environmental journalist and commentator. Light refreshments will be served. Dress: Business Casual.

Everyone is welcome, but registration is required.
