Rethink Ireland Appoints Stephanie Manahan as New Chief Executive Officer
Rethink Ireland is delighted to share that Stephanie Manahan will be the next CEO of Rethink Ireland!
She brings more than 30 years’ experience across health, disability, mental health and the not-for-profit sector. A two-time CEO, Stephanie has led both the Central Remedial Clinic (CRC) and, most recently, Pieta, where she has guided the organisation through a period of significant change and transformation.
Stephanie is passionate about social innovation and creating the conditions to turn good ideas into lasting change. She believes in supporting people and communities to develop solutions to the challenges they face, and in creating the conditions for those solutions to grow and have a wider impact. This is central to Rethink Ireland’s work, and it’s why we’re so excited that she will take up the role on 4 January 2027. Until then, Deirdre Mortell continues as CEO, and the two will work closely together to ensure a smooth handover.
