Our work towards achieving our goal has included:

1. Supporting individuals and families who are homeless through the provision of:

– Emergency Accommodation for men and women who present as homeless

– Short-term Accommodation Services for individuals and families

– Resettlement support for those who are homeless

– Substance Misuse Service offering individual support for people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless

– Housing Liaison Service supporting people inpatient in Sligo University Hospital who are homeless or have a housing issue

2. Delivery of Housing First Service to people who are homeless in the Northwest Region

3. Delivery of Childcare services including:

– Targeted early years childcare service

– Two after school services in collaboration with Cranmore/Abbeyquarter Community Centre and St. Edwards Primary School, Ballytivnan

4. Provision of an Open Access Service which assists families and individuals with advice and information on entitlements and welfare issues and direct support in the form of food.

5. Support to Older people through the delivery of :

– Meals-on-Wheels Service to recipients in Sligo town and North County Sligo

– Provision of a home visiting Befriending Service to older people

6. Delivery of a Counselling Service to young people

7. Provision of Community Employment Projects including:

– Employing 34 participants on mainstream community employment programme.

– Delivery of a Community Employment Drugs Rehabilitation Scheme to 15 participants
