Open Call for New Board Members 

Be Part of Our Vision for the Arts in Galway 

Galway Arts Centre is inviting expressions of interest from people who would like to join our 

Board and help shape the organisation’s next chapter. 

We welcome applicants bringing a wide range of skills, perspectives and lived experience. 

Previous board experience is not required, and support and induction will be provided for 

new board members. 

We are particularly interested in hearing from people with experience across arts and 

cultural leadership, governance, finance, fundraising, capital development, communications, 

public policy, equality and inclusion, youth arts, sustainability and community engagement.

Cuirimid fáilte roimh iarratais ó dhaoine a bhfuil réimse leathan scileanna, taithí agus 

dearcthaí acu. Ní gá taithí roimhe seo ar bhord stiúrthóirí a bheith agat; cuirfear tacaíocht 

agus clár ionduchtaithe ar fáil do gach comhalta nua. 

Tá spéis ar leith againn cloisteáil ó dhaoine a bhfuil taithí acu i gceannaireacht ealaíon agus 

chultúir, rialachas, airgeadas, tiomsú airgid, forbairt tionscadal caipitil, cumarsáid, beartas 

poiblí, comhionannas, éagsúlacht agus cuimsiú, ealaíona óige, inbhuanaitheacht agus 

rannpháirtíocht pobail.
