Project Management – Three part course

Have you ever wanted to develop, or brush up on, your project management skills? Do you want to know the practical difference between an outcome and an output? Are you struggling to make your monitoring and evaluation streamline and purposeful? Would you like to be more structured in your project management approach? Then this course is for you…. 

This course will be run over 3 days.

By the end of the three half-day workshops participants will:  

  • Understand the key stages in project development and be able to write a PID (Project Inception Document) 
  • Be able to write project aims, objectives, outcomes and outputs 
  • Know what to include in your monitoring and evaluation framework 
  • Be confident to better work with project partners and stakeholders 
  • Understand how to get the best from the project team 
  • Be able to identify and analyse project risks and how to plan contingencies 
  • Have explored project succession & exit strategies 

Who should attend?

The three-part participative course is for trustees, staff and volunteers who are new to project management or for those looking for an in-depth refresher on practical project management

Eileen’s training specialisms include Project Management, Evaluation, Leadership development, Coaching, Volunteer Management and Strategic Thinking and Planning. Eileen has held senior posts in HR and Training and Development in the Third Sector and Health Service. Eileen is an EMCC Accredited Coaching Senior Practitioner and a Fellow of the CIPD.
