Kathleen, a native of Longford, has over 20 years of expertise in urban and rural project management across community, non-profit, employment, education, and childcare sectors.
Currently, she is the Director of Programmes at Longford Women’s Link (LWL), focusing on People, Governance, and Finance. Her responsibilities span Education and Training, Community Employment, and Early Years. A passionate advocate for adult education, she has played a crucial role in transitioning a small-scale childcare project to a county-wide accredited program. She holds degrees from SETU, UCD, and UCC, and represents LWL on several external committees, including the Longford Public Participation Network and initiatives addressing local community safety and the Ukrainian refugee crisis. Kathleen believes in the transformative power of community education and is dedicated to fostering learning cultures within organizations.
