SCOPE – Finance Basics

Financial management is an area that has become increasingly important for nonprofits. Organisations of all sizes must make the best use they can of any resources that they have. They must also be able to confidently account for how they manage their funds.

This short module brought to you by the Skills Recognition, Capacity Building, and Professional Education for the Third Sector (SCOPE), will take participants through the basic financial practices that will help your organisation function effectively and protect your resources.

Whether you are a governing body member, a staff member or volunteer, this module will help you to understand the role of financial controls, book-keeping and reporting.

SCOPE is an eLearning platform aimed at European civil society with relevant and engaging learning content.

Participants will gain recognition through digital badges for skills acquired to support you in your work.
