Meet, Share and Learn about Well-being (Online Meeting)

This networking and information session for nonprofits in Connacht, Munster and South Leinster is an opportunity to meet up with other community and voluntary organisations, share the good work you are doing and the challenges you have overcome, and learn what supports are available to you.

There will be a special focus on fostering resilience and promoting well-being in our community and voluntary organisations, charities and social enterprises.

We will start the meeting with some simple self-care exercises that can be practiced anytime, anywhere and by anyone.

Participants can expect an overview of well-being strategies for remote working, as well as management of staff and volunteers. We will be looking at these in the context of the current climate, 9 months on from thinking that we were heading into a 2 week lockdown.

Time management, people management, and ergonomics will also be covered. Expect an interactive session (accessible to all).

Additional Learning Outcomes

In addition to the above focus on well-being, this virtual event will also be touching on the wide array of free resources and opportunities open to your nonprofit, both from The Wheel and other sources.

Participants will leave the session with greater awareness of:

  • The variety of work being done by community and voluntary organisations, charities and social enterprises across your region
  • The supports and services provided by The Wheel and other service providers
  • Top tips for well-being
  • A festive look at fostering resilience and promoting well-being at work.
