Meet, Share and Learn in the Northeast (Online Meeting)

This networking and information session for nonprofits in the the Northeast of Ireland is an opportunity to meet up with other community and voluntary organisations, share the good work you are doing and the challenges you have overcome, and learn what supports are available to you. 

Learning Focus

This dynamic online event will have a particular focus on how you can harness the power of social media for promoting your organisation, as well as how best to tailor content to each of the most popular networks. Delivered by Emily Bourke, The Wheel's Communications Officer, you couldn't be in better digital hands!

In addition to the above focus, you can also look forward to this afternoon event covering:

  • The variety of work being done by community and voluntary organisations, charities and social enterprises 
  • The key supports and services provided by The Wheel and other service providers .

Marjan Boers

Emily

Emily Bourke joined The Wheel as Communications and Marketing Officer in March 2020. Her role is to ensure delivery of communications and marketing strategy of the organisation. Emily completed her PhD in English Literature in 2019. She previously managed a national children's literacy programme, tutored in English at Trinity College, edited journals, and mentored academic writing students. 

 

Johnny Sheehan

Johnny Sheehan is Membership and Regional Manager at The Wheel. The main focus of his work is to drive the development, presence and participation in The Wheel’s programmes regionally, to support the work of the National Rural Network and to support member engagement in The Wheel. Johnny has extensive experience on charity boards and holds a certificate in Charity Law, Trusteeship and Governance from the Law Society.
