Leadership Member Network: Engaging Positively with Conflict

We invite anyone in a leadership and management position from a member organisation of The Wheel to be our guest at this Leadership Network breakfast.

Workshop Format

These regular member sessions are interactive and practical and focus on a different skill associated with effective leadership on each occasion. The workshops offer the opportunity for peer-learning and insights from our expert facilitator. So whether you're a leader in a community and voluntary organisation, charity or social enterprise you will have the opportunity to learn something about yourself, think about your team or colleagues, and also discuss with and learn from your peers.

Workshop Topic: Engaging Positively with Conflict

Engaging positively with conflict is an essential Leadership behaviour in all organisations. Potential conflicts arise in so many areas of our work and an understanding of how we respond is the start of a positive engagement with it.

In this Leadership Member Network morning, we will:

  • Self assess your natural conflict Mode
  • Help you understand your conflict triggers
  • Reflect on how your responses can differ from others.
  • How understanding conflict modes can be used positively to create strong teams.
  • Using conflict positively to create change

We look forward to welcoming you to another lively and interesting session.
