Advent Retreat - Father Ben Hughes CC - Emmaus Retreat Centre Swords, Co Dublin

Advent Retreat – Reclaiming Hope and Healing for the Journey Ahead You are invited to step back from the noisy routine of life and join us for a prayerful, gentle and restful opportunity to deepen your connection with God and nurture your soul in preparation for the birth of Christ.

In a spirit of trust you are invited to come to God just as you are and to reclaim the hope and the healing that is yours. In doing so you will be strengthened to negotiate your way through whatever is holding you back and to walk with purpose towards the light of new beginnings.
In addition to the daily input retreatants can avail of daily Eucharist, an opportunity for individual confessions, spiritual guidance, a service of healing and quiet time for personal reflection.
Facilitator: Fr. Ben Hughes is a priest of the diocese of Clogher. His ministry includes parish work, youth coaching and adult education. More recently he practises as a psychotherapist, spiritual director and retreat facilitator. He successfully integrates spirituality and psychology to facilitate a journey where spiritual progress and self improvement are compassionately achieved under the blessing of a generous God.
