National Stammering Awareness Day

 National Stammering Awareness Day 2010 takes place on October 16th in the Aisling Hotel Dublin.


Irish Stammering Association is proud to be taking part in the day and encourages all those challenged by stammering to attend. Families and friends of are also welcome to attend; a special invitation is extended to those who work with people who are challenged by stammering.

This is the 3rd NSAD in Ireland and brings together all members of the stammering community to share experiences and support each other around a communication disorder that is becoming more talked about!

25th Anniversary Commemoration of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster

During the two weeks leading up to and after the 25th Anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster,Chernobyl Children's Project International will host various fundraising and awareness activities including an exhibition, a press conference and many other commemorative activities to be confirmed.




IASE Trailblazers Coast to Coast Cycle Challange: Dublin to Belmullet

The Irish Association of Supported Employment are organising a cycle challange from Dublin to Belmullet, Co Mayo on August 19th & 20th.

This wonderful event hopes to raise awareness of the work of the IASE and its continuing mission to promote equal employment oppurtunities for people with disabilties throughout Ireland.

Angel Day 2010

IWA’s National Fundraising Campaign takes place during the month of November. Our Angel Pins and Angel pencils will be available nationwide for €2 each.
