  • Presentation on Public Procurement and Social Enterprise – how to engage (a guide for buyers and enterprises) from Emma McEvoy of DCU Winning in Tendering;
  • Case study of one of Waterford’s social enterprise success stories This is Up by founder Karen Frampton;
  • Presentation from Maurice Healy of the Healy Group; SEI; Ashoka; and the SETF on Social Private Partnerships – practical experience in engagement
  • The launch of the Communities Creating Jobs initiative by chairman John Kearney of Carbery Enterprise Group; and
  • Presentation of the prospectus for the newly formed Social Enterprise In Action Ltd by Gerry McKeever of social enterprise consultancy Tosach.
This event is aimed at social enterprises and senior stakeholders, anxious to update their awareness of social enterprise developments, and those charged with community and enterprise development and job creation in the field, hoping to gain insight into best practice throughout Ireland and abroad.
