Training workshop for families affected by dementia  (Wed 13 Nov, 2013)

Due to huge demand, Sonas apc is bringing Dr Cameron Camp back to Ireland to deliver training workshops for families and healthcare professionals. His 1-day Workshop entitled Activity based Visits for Relatives is specifically aimed at families. It takes place on 13 November, 2013.

Dr Cameron Camp is Director of Research at the Centre for Applied Research in Dementia in Ohio, US and is an internationally known psychologist, research scientist and educator. The workshop is for anyone who has a relative living with dementia, whether that be in the family home or a care centre. Those who attend will learn how to create activities that make every visit enjoyable and overcome the communication challenges that dementia can bring, enhancing quality of life.
