The SOS Challenge 2013

The annual fundraiser of Suicide or Survive takes place on Saturday, 27 April.

The event involves four-man teams taking part in a series of fun tasks along the Dublin DART line. Feedback over the past number of years has been fantastic and it truly is a fun event.  There are teams from all walks of life – students, co-workers and groups of friends looking to have a fun day out – all for a good cause. Many organisations have used it as a team building tool and often tell us that it was a highlight of their calendar!!

How does the SOS Challenge work?

To enter the event, teams of four are required to raise €200 per team (€50 each). It is tradition that teams take to fancy dress for the day, giving the day a great sense of fun!  There are prizes for best dressed team; fastest team and any team that raises over €500 will be entered into a draw for a grand prize.

The SOS Challenge is divided into four tasks, one at each of four locations along the DART line and this year’s activities will include the following fun events:

  • Guinness & Oyster tasting – Dalkey
  • Mystery  Challenge – Blackrock
  • Assault Course – Fairview
  • Karaoke with Dublin Fire Brigade – Dublin City Centre

Even More Fun!

Registration takes place at 2pm on Saturday, 29 April 2013 at Mac Turcaills (Tara Street, Dublin 1) and after the challenges, the teams are required to return to Mac Turcaills for the exciting grand finale. Teams can relax as the winning teams are announced. The event is wrapped up with a DJ set.
