Sligo Volunteer Centre is offering 3 workshops on Digital Marketing incl. Social Media for community/voluntary groups. The workshops will be on Wednesday evenings 7-10pm, venue in Sligo town to be confirmed. The Beginners Workshop is aimed exclusively at groups who are not yet using Social Media. The Intermediate Workshops are recommended for organisations who have a presence but want to learn how to use it more effectively, e.g. for a fundraising campaign.

Aimed at groups who do not yet have a Social Media presence – this can be a stand alone workshop or you can sign up for all three.


Into to Social Media Marketing: Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin

Intro to search engine marketing (how your organisation is found online)

Both intermediate workshops are aimed at groups who are using Digital Marketing but want to make it more effective. Participants must sign up for both workshops.

All participants must be fully computer proficient. Computers will be available but you are welcome to bring your own laptop if preferred.

Trainer: Denise Rushe of Starling Digital Media, winner of an Irish Internet Award and Sligo IT lecturer. Email support will be provided by Denise for the duration of the workshops.
