Peer Education for Sustainable Development (FETAC L 5)

Time: Fridays 14:00 – 19:30 / Saturdays 10:00 – 19:00
Dates: Fri 19th & Sat 20th October || Fri 23rd & Sat 24th November

The course explores peer education principles and practice with a thematic focus on sustainable development. Participants will develop and facilitate peer education activities using education for sustainable development/development education and other related skills for youth and community work. Participants will explore local and global themes including sustainable consumption, climate justice, resource extraction, poverty reduction, promoting cultural diversity, trade justice and the United Nations Millennium Development Goals.
