Médecins Sans Frontières special talk on delivery of medical care in conflict - 14 June, Dublin
Dr Kathleen Thomas was working at Médecins Sans Frontières emergency trauma hospital in Afghanistan when a series of airstrikes destroyed the facility - killing staff, patients and their caretakers.
Dr Thomas will reflect on her work in Kunduz, the week leading up to the airstrikes, and how attacks affect the delivery of medical care in conflict zones.
