Job Shadow Day 2014 - 9 April

On Wednesday, 9 April 2014, hundreds of individuals with disabilities throughout Ireland will be afforded a unique opportunity to shadow a workplace mentor as he or she goes through a normal working day at hundreds of companies and employment sites throughout Ireland.

Nationwide Job Shadow Day, sponsored by, is organised by the Irish Association of Supported Employment (IASE), promoting employment rights and access to work and training for all people with a disability in Ireland.

This major annual event allows job-seekers with a disability to team up with a company mentor for the day and experience their working day.

Everyone from local businesses, community organisations to government departments, celebrity chefs, TV personalities and even the Taoiseach will show their commitment to inclusion in the workplace by taking part on the day.
