Invitation to Seminar on Violence Against Women in Ireland

SAFE Ireland in association with the EU Fundamental Rights Agency, the National Women's Council of Ireland and Rape Crisis Network Ireland,

are co-hosting a seminar to coincide with the

launch of Europe's largest ever study on Violence Against Women.

"Violence against women across the EU

Abuse at home, work, in public and online"

This seminar will include the presentation of findings from this groundbreaking EU study combined with emerging Irish research on violence against women. It will include an initial analysis of the data on the prevalence and nature of violence against women in Ireland.

The seminar will be of interest in particular to survivors, frontline professionals, academics, students, politicians, activists, journalists, community organisations, public/civil servants and policy makers.
