Free safeTALK suicide alertness training in Bray: 7th October 2014

Bray Area Partnership is running a free safeTALK half-day suicide alertness course in Bray on the morning of Tuesday, 7th October.

The course is open to anybody aged 18 and over from the Bray area who wants to help prevent suicide and is prepared to become ‘suicide alert’. On the training you will learn the four basic steps to recognise people with thoughts of suicide and connect them to suicide first aid resources (see course content leaflet here but please do not ring them direct - see booking details below!).

This is the fourth safeTALK course we have put on in Bray. We want to encourage individuals from the local community to consider doing this short course, but also people from community groups or companies that deal with the public - the more people in our local community who have the training, the more effective it will be.
