Enniscorthy Street Rhythms Dance Festival is taking place this year on the 6th to 8th of June in Enniscorthy Co. Wexford. 

The Festival kicks off Friday evening at 8 o'clock with a parade lead by the Ballindaggin Pipe Band, French Peasants, Alice in Wonderland, Community Theatre, dancers and other colourful characters. This parade arrives in Market Square and their will be a small dance performance (a taster for the weekend), by some of our dancers followed by an open air disco.


Saturday morning kicks off with Baby Bop, Mickey Mouse etc for all the small children. From 1 o'clock there will be dance performances in two locations, the Market Square and the grounds of the Castle. We have hip hop, irish dancing, argentine tango, line dancing and many more. We also have fairytales in the Castle created by the wonderful Liam Sharkey and John Reilly, this is not to be missed!!! It is always spectacular and the kids absolutely love it.


Sunday is the international day of dance and music. 12.30 on Sunday starts off with a Jazz session. Followed by some spectactular dancing. This includes Sandstorm, a wonderful Indian dance group. We also have a slap stick circus act with amazing skills called Babcock and Bobbins. We have many many more acts as well. It is a fantastic weekend of dance and music for everyone to enjoy from the ages of 2 to 102!!!!!

Also on Saturday and Sunday on Rafter Street we have 'Craft in Motion'. Come along and see some of our gifted crafts people and watch them demonstrate their crafts to you. 

Also on Sunday Morning the Enniscorthy Strawberry Fair half marathon is taking place. How about you go for a quick run or walk in the morning and then relax for the afternoon and take in some wonderful dance and music!!!!!
