Problem Solving: Translating Creativity and Analysis into Practical Solutions to Service Challenges for Community & Voluntary Organisations - Level 8

Sola is committed to building sustainable communities of practice and service provision with appropriate Governance and sustainable quality systems within a changing social, economic and political context in Ireland.

For Whom: This courese is aimed at those in Community, Voluntary & Disability organisations  who have a responsibility for governing, delivering services, coordinating activities or who have a mamagement role withn the organisation.

Discription: This course provides learners with the opportunity to practice the skills that are needed to participate in finding solutions to issues that concern them. This will help to develop important strategic objectives fro a sustainable future by using structured experiential and theory-based methods. It also integrates the critical-to-success skills of problem clarification, analysis, correction and permanent solution development so that students can take action with confidence.

Applications are now being accepted for this course which runs on 5 Saturdays over 10 weeks. Beginning on Saturday 18th February to Saturday 22nd April (inclusive) 2017.

Location/Time: The classes will take place at the University of Limerick and will run from 10am to 4pm.

Cost: €600 (DFI Membership Grant of €100 available)
