COPE Galway, Your local charity, would like to hear your views!

COPE Galway is currently preparing its Strategic Plan for the period 2013 – 2015. The plan aims to set out how COPE Galway, working with its staff, volunteers, funders, partner agencies, and the community, can best meet the needs of people who are vulnerable or isolated within our community.

As part of the preparation for the development of the Strategic Plan, we are particularly interested to hear from members of the public (both those who have no association with COPE Galway, and those are associated with us in any way). We would like to get a sense of what the people of Galway know about COPE Galway’s services in the community; what is seen as valuable, and get people’s views on the key needs in the community and how COPE Galway can help to address them.

“We really value the role of the community in helping us to address issues of isolation. We see our role as encouraging and enabling the people of Galway to respond to their natural instinct to be good neighbours and to attend to those who experience isolation. Without the support of the community in so many ways, we would not be able to continue to offer our range of services” says Jacquie Horan, CEO of COPE Galway.

For this reason, we ask you to please take a moment to participate in our online survey. Go to the survey here or visit COPE Galway website:

Alternatively, we are happy to post the survey out to you. Contact us on 091 778 750 or email
