Making the News - Media Relations for your Charity (Limited spaces available) - 10th May 2018 (Thurs) 09.45am to 1.00pm

This training session is focused on building the capacity and confidence of participants to engage with local, national and sectoral media to generate interest in their work. The training typically requires a half-day session and includes practical exercises and hands-on support in enhancing your organisation’s relationship with the media and, in turn, achieving media coverage.

Managing Conflict - 31st May 2018 (Thurs) 09.45am to 1.00pm

The workshop will outline the function of conflict and how different personality traits respond and react to conflict. You will gain insights from applied psychology and good practice models for functioning and maintaining understanding at meetings and reducing the negative impact of conflict.

Introduction to Risk Management - 7th June 2018 (Thurs) 09.45am to 12.00pm

To enable learners develop a comprehensive understanding of Risk Management within an organisation and the tools which can be employed to minimise risk.  In addition to attending the course, participants will have access to our e-learning module on the same subject.

Implementing GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) - 14th June 2018 (Thurs) 09.45am to 1.00pm

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into effect on the 25th May 2018, replacing the existing data protection framework under the EU Data Protection Directive. Organisations involved in data processing of any sort need to be aware the regulation addresses them directly in terms of the obligations it imposes.
