"Implementing PQASSO" - 2 day training course for Community and Voluntary Organisations

What is PQASSO?

PQASSO is an off-the-shelf quality management system developed in 1997 by the Charities Evaluation Services (CES) in the UK for the community and voluntary sector.

This course, which is delivered by consultant trainers from CES, covers all aspects of introducing and implementing PQASSO through self-assessment within an organisation.  

It is designed to support participants in developing a plan for how to implement quality within their organisation, and how to involve all the key stakeholders in the process.  The course also considers the next steps for an organisation should they wish to apply for the PQASSO Quality Mark. 

Is this course for you?

You will benefit most from this course if you:

  • want to implement PQASSO through self-assessment in your organisation
  • will be taking a lead in the implementation process. 

Overall aim

To ensure that participants have the relevant knowledge and skills to implement PQASSO through self-assessment within their organisations. 

Specific aims

Participants will have by the end of the two days training:

  • developed their understanding of PQASSO and the self-assessment process
  • considered the necessary steps for the successful implementation of PQASSO within their organisations
  • discussed the roles and responsibilities of key stakeholders and considered ways of getting them involved in the process
  • identified the key elements to be included in the planning process for implementing PQASSO within their organisation
  • a better understanding of the new PQASSO Quality Mark service. 

CES Training
This course is delivered by Consultant Trainers from the Charities Evaluation Services in the UK the inventors of PQASSO.  DFI is the only location in Ireland where CES deliver this training.

Registration Fee and Terms and conditions

Fee for the 2 days Training course is €275 per place. 
Tea, coffee, scones, and lunch is provided within the fee. 
All places will be confirmed in writing.
Bookings cancelled within 5 working days of the training taking place will incur a 50% cancellation fee. 
Cancellations must be made in writing and cancellation charges will apply whether or not payment has been received. 
Please note that non-arrival at a course, with or without notice, counts as a cancellation. 
Bookings may be transferred to another course date.
Please note that DFI reserves the right to cancel any course and in such cases, a full refund of course fees will be made.
