The Wheel is holding it's annual conference, entitled "Building a Better Ireland: Working Together to Make it Happen", in Dublin this May. The event will include several sessions dealing head on with some of the key concerns facing fundraisers today.

The conference will explore and offer solutions for:

  • The leadership challenges facing our sector
  • The current funding crisis
  • The future of active citizenship in Ireland

  • A new framework for partnership working
  • Charity regulation - the road ahead

The conference will also see The Wheel introducing it's new Gulbenkian-funded research report, A Strategy to Diversify Funding and Ensure Independence in the Sector. In addition, conference speakers will thrash out such pressing subjects as the role of foundations and private funders and the regulation of fundraising in Ireland today.
