New €295K Skills & Opportunities Fund from Ulster Bank

Ulster Bank's new Skills & Opportunities Fund has been launched. The Fund will provide grants for charities, social enterprises, community groups, state-funded schools and colleges based in the Ireland and Northern Ireland, to fund projects aimed at helping people learn new skills, find employment or start a business. £220,000( €295,000) has been allocated to the Republic of Ireland (out of a total fund of £2.5m).

This builds on the £500,000 funding already provided to 47 community projects in the last two years through Ulster Bank's all-island Community Impact Fund.  Furthermore, Ulster Bank are making a commitment  to continue this strategic community support for the next three years.
