Measuring the Effectiveness of Your Social Justice Advocacy

Measuring the effectiveness of advocacy is an ongoing challenge.  Organisations often struggle to fully answer the question of how their advocacy contributes to social change.
The Advocacy Initiative developed a tool to help organisation's come up with their own indicators: Are we getting there? - A tool for identifying evaluation indicators for social justice advocacy.
The Disability Federation of Ireland (DFI) is implementing an Advocacy Initiative legacy project, using the tool, and is now inviting social justice advocacy organisations to apply to participate in an intense, high-level learning environment to develop social justice advocacy indicators for their work.
This learning experience will involve three masterclass workshops, from February to September 2016 (dates to be confirmed).  Your organisation will end this programme with a long-term framework for determining the effectiveness of your advocacy.  Our ambition is that this framework will be of broader value to the Community and Voluntary sector, and will serve as a model of advocacy evaluation.
To apply for this exciting and unique opportunity please complete the application form by Wednesday 16 December:
