Invitation to Tender to Conduct an Evaluation of the Children’s Rights Alliance

The Children’s Rights Alliance is seeking an independent evaluator to conduct a light-touch mid-term and a final evaluation of the organisation’s performance against its Strategic Plan.

In particular the evaluator’s primary function will be to:

  • Evaluate the organisation’s performance against the Strategic Plan (2012-2016) indicators and planned outcomes, and assess how successful the Alliance has been in bringing about changes to benefit the lives of children in Ireland, and to make any relevant recommendations to strengthen its impact
  • Make recommendations in relation to any adjustments that need to be made to the Strategic Plan (2012-2016) in the mid-term evaluation, and for the future strategic direction of the organisation post-2016.

The mid-term evaluation is likely to commence in autumn 2014 with a first report delivered in January 2015. The second evaluation report will need to be delivered by autumn 2016. The maximum budget for this full evaluation is in the region of €23,000 (inclusive of VAT). Payments will be made in instalments, based on deliverables.
