Human Rights and Equality Grant Scheme 2016

The Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission is delighted to issue a call for proposals for their Human Rights and Equality Grant Scheme 2016.

The scheme is open to a wide range of groups and organisations and aims to support human rights and equality activities in the areas of research, education, training, integration, equality and diversity.

Who can apply?

NGOs and civil society groups (including non-profit organisations, community groups and trade unions), public bodies and academic institutions.

How does it work?

Activities should relate to one or more of the goals and objectives set out in our Strategy Statement 2016 - 2018. There are three strands to the scheme:

  1. Capacity Building (maximum €6,000)
  2. Project Implementation (maximum €20,000)
  3. Collaboration and Dissemination (maximum €4,000)

The total grant fund under this call is €250,000. Please read the guidance manual and complete the application form below. The completed form should be returned to IHREC before 17:00, 13 July 2016.
