Free Anti-Racism Training Day

The Family Support Network, a national organization supporting families living with drug use, will be running an Anti-Racism training day on the 1 September in Offaly.

This one-day course is geared specifically towards members and facilitators of Family Support Groups, representatives from Local Drugs Task Forces and representatives from Family Resource Centres.

The training is provided free of charge.

The course is designed to:

  • To help you understand and meet the challenge of living and working in a multi ethnic society.
  • To help you recognise racism and how you might address it.
  • To encourage your family support group or organisation to adopt policies and good practice to combat racism.
  • To promote anti-racist practices and develop appropriate services to meet the needs of minority ethnic groups.

The training will take place Clara Family Resource Centre, The Parochial Hall, River St, Clara, Co Offaly.

Eligible parties must register to attend as soon as possible
