Charity of the Year Applications Now Open

Applications to become National Irish Banks chosen Charity of the Year are now being accepted. The chosen charity will become a focus for the banks staff fundraising activities throughout the year. Find out more...

The National Irish Bank Charity of the Year is selected following a tender process. Community-based charities from around the country are invited to apply and a large number of application forms are received every year. The applications are scored by an internal panel of judges and a shortlist is presented to National Irish Bank staff, who are then asked to vote for their preferred choice. The preferred choice for the past year was the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul.

Staff at National Irish Bank undertake several fundraising activities every year, the proceeds of which are then matched equally by the Bank. Appointment as Charity Partner means that the chosen charity will receive the proceeds of all National Irish Bank fundraising conducted throughout the year, as well as support for a number of their own fund-raising events.

How to Apply

Application forms are directly available from Anne McCoy, NIB Community Affairs Adviser on: or ph: 01 484 21 82.

The deadline for applications is 25 September, 2009.
