Better Together 2015: win €2,000 cash, raise your public profile, fundraise and recruit new supporters!

The 2015 Better Together Video Competition for community and voluntary organisations will open for entries on Monday 14 September!

Better Together 2015

Any charity, club or association on the island of Ireland (no matter how large or small)  can take part by entering a short online video.
This is your chance to:
  • showcase your organisation’s work to the public (over 400,000 thousand people watched the entries last year!)
  • recruit new supporters or volunteers
  • fundraise online (optional)
  • and win one of three €2,000 cash prizes!

Get creative!

Anyone can make a short online video: all you need is a smartphone, digital camera or camcorder, access to a PC, an idea and a large dollop of passion!

Your video should be no longer than 2 minutes and should show:

  1. What you do
  2. Why it is important to your community
  3. How the public can support you
Top Tip: Videos that engage with the theme ("Better Together") will receive bonus points in the judging process.
Your entry can be collection of clips, interviews, a photo montage or an animation- whatever tickles you fancy (as long as it is no longer that two minutes on the dot!).

We want to make sure that everyone has an equal shot at a prize. That’s why we are awarding a cash prize of €2,000 in each of the following categories:

On 14 September you can head over to  to complete the entry form. (You can enter anytime between 14 September and 9 November, but the sooner you get your video in the better your chances!).
Once your video is approved, it will be posted on your very own profile page. The page will include background information on your organisation, your contact details and links to your social media profiles.
