Content Moderation

Please note: we reserve the right to remove content from wheel.ie that we consider to be not relevant to the Irish community and voluntary sector.

Visitors can access private areas and functions of wheel.ie via their user name and password. They are allowed to do so on the basis that:

  • Registered users do not do anything which would assist anyone who is not a registered user to gain access to any private functions of wheel.ie
  • Registered users take responsibility for maintaining the security and secrecy of their user names and passwords

To ensure that content on wheel.ie is relevant and of good quality, wheel.ie monitors and moderates content entered by third parties.

Unacceptable Content

Information supplied by third parties for display on wheel.ie must:

  • not be obscene or blasphemous
  • not be defamatory of any person; or
  • not, when used by wheel.ie in accordance with this agreement, infringe any copyright, trademark or other intellectual property right of any person. 

Wheel.ie reserves the right to remove, modify and otherwise to do as it deems necessary, to any submitted information which does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.

Current & Accurate Information

It is the responsibility of content contributors to ensure that their information is accurate and timely, and to notify wheel.ie if the information they have contributed becomes out of date or misleading.

We reserve the right to use any material we receive via this Site in part or entirety. By posting any content on the Site, you are granting wheel.ie a perpetual, royalty-free licence to publish such content on the Site or in other wheel.ie publications in such manner as Rotha (The Wheel) deems fit. You waive any moral rights you may otherwise have in respect of such content.

Governing Law

The Site has been created and is controlled by An Rotha (The Wheel) in Ireland. These Terms will be governed by, and construed and enforced in accordance with, the laws of the Republic of Ireland (excluding Northern Ireland). You hereby unconditionally and irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
