Supporting and Enabling Voluntary Activity
The Wheels manifesto on the cross-cutting needs of community & voluntary organisations - was launched on March 28th in Dublin to an audience of TDs and Sector Leaders. The manifesto - directed at political parties and politicians in advance of the election - consists of a fourteen-point plan to support and enhance the sector, which if taken on board in the next programme for government will greatly improve the environment in which community and voluntary organisations are working.
