Making More Money: practical finance and fundraising tools
A workshop that examines practical tools to manage finances and grow your funding in a recession. When: 17 February Where: Carmelite Community Centre, Aungier Street, Dublin 2 Time: 09:30am-12:30pm. (registration from 09:15am) part of our recession-busting supports for organisations. With statutory funding on the decrease, and fundraising under severe pressure, organisations are now being pressed to rethink how they will deliver on their mission and objectives so that they can do the same with less resources. If they don't change the way they do things, they may find themselves running out of cash. Cut Costs and Make More Money!Developed specifically as a result of the pressures facing groups in 2010 and presented by Deirdre Garvey, Chief Executive Officer with The Wheel, participants in this workshop will benefit from her ability to share the stories of the successes (and failures) experienced by the hundreds of members of The Wheel as they've struggled with these issues. Peppered also with some easy-to-use models to help structure and organise your organisation's thinking about finances and fundraising strategies, this workshop won't provide a magic wand, but it will provide practical, workable ideas and support to help you achieve success. Workshop Objectives:
