What is good governance

& why is it important for your organisation?

Control & Clarity of Purpose

Governance is the art of being clear about purpose and staying in control, its about knowing who is supposed to be controlling what, and applying best practice to directing and managing your organisations internal affairs. The board has a big role to play in ensuring that your organisaion has the strategy, policies and resources necessary to deliver its mission. It is the role of management and staff to ensure that the board's strategy is delivered effectively. To achieve this, your organisation needs to get organised!

Come along to this workshop to learn more about the inter-related elements of good governance and how your board and staff can organise your internal business affairs so that they support, and don't hinder, the achievement of your objectives.
