On February 1st 2005 The Wheel was proud to launch the most comprehensive Online Directory of Community and Voluntary Organisations.

Since it began, The Wheel has been connecting and supporting thousands of community and voluntary organisations across Ireland. During this time we collated information which has allowed us to design and develop an in-depth database of individuals and organisations within the community and voluntary sector. This information has now been transformed into this ONLINE directory containing information on organisations the length and breadth of the sector.

This directory will allow you to search for all relevant organisations and services (by both free text and category searches), network with other organisations, add your own organisation and keep that organisation’s data up to date.

As there is no established register of community and voluntary organisations in Ireland at present this online directory will help us understand the true size and diversity of the sector. It will also will prove invaluable by bringing awareness of the breadth of the sector to the wider community.

The directory is available free of charge to all and is fully searchable through organisation name and a number of other different categories.
