Doorway to life, Abode is a voluntary organisation providing services to people with physical and sensory disabilities in Cork. We provide Training, Day Activation, Hostel and Respite services and Long term accommodation.

The Independent Living Training Programme

Independent Living means living like everyone, having the right to make your own choices, to have control over your own life, to have the opportunity to make decisions, to take responsibility and to pursue activities of your own choosing.

Doorway to Life's Independent Living Programme provides people with physical and sensory disabilities with the opportunity to explore their options regarding how they would like to live. We also examine possible work and training options. The programme is a F+

Training experience and qualifications:

All our Trainers teach FETAC accredited training courses and all are highly qualified.
